With the majority of our students from two working parent families, having after school care can be a major concern. At Edgewood, we offer a supervised program from 3:00 until 5:45 p.m. Immediately after school, the children are greeted by the teacher. An after school snack is provided and free play in encouraged for physical activity. Quiet time is provided for students to complete homework in an environment where questions may be asked and guidance provided as needed.
In comparing our charges to other day care settings, we feel you will agree that Edgewood offers a very attractive alternative. Payments are based on the number of children and the number of days the service is used.
Another positive aspect is the children do not have a bus or ride to catch to get to the day care setting. Our after school care is offered in the main building, which is a familiar setting.
